Location:

European Environment Agency, Kongens Nytorv, Copenhagen

On 12 November 2014 members of the CECILIA2050 research project and experts of the European Environment Agency (EEA) will meet in Copenhagen at the EEA to discuss the road ahead for the European Union’s (EU) climate policy. During the meeting, the CECILIA2050 project members will present some of the main insights from the research that has been conducted so far and discuss these in comparison to the insights of the EEA’s efforts on ex-post policy assessment. Furthermore, the meeting will offer the opportunity to discuss relevant questions for a future EU climate policy, including what choices need to be made to decarbonise Europe and how the EU can put climate policy on the road to decarbonisation.
